We shall appreciate your kind respond in the matter. Please do send the abstract of your paper on or before 15 September 2007, along with a brief CV of yours to the following address

 
GUIDELINES
Abstract & Paper Submission information for WHAT Medicine.
The Scientific Review Committee invites abstracts for consideration as papers (15 minute oral presentation, followed by 5 minutes discussion), and/ or posters. Authors should state their preference of either a paper or poster presentation. Authors with one or more abstracts are encouraged to submit their work, but only one paper and one poster will be accepted for presentation. In exceptional circumstances, the Review Committee may reserves the right to approve multiple papers of the author.

The closing date for abstract submission is 15 September 2007. Please attach a copy of your updated CV along with your abstract.

All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, a copy of which will be given to every registered participant.

Papers of high quality would be recommended for publication in the following journal of Tropical Medicinal Plants.

  Abstract must be written in “Word” format and emailed as an attachment to :
   
Instructions for abstract submission
Abstracts are to be submitted in English only.
Abstracts should be a maximum length of one A4 page or be no more than 350 words in length.
Title must be in Title case on the first line.
Author(s) name(s) institution(s) and full postal address. • Underline the name of the presenting author
Leave one line between the title / author / institution and the body of the abstract.
Texts must be typed single-spaced. Graphs, tables and illustrations cannot be included in the abstract.
Paper should include all figures and be presented in the provided format. Describe clearly the purpose and relevance of the paper, references to existing theories and related works, research methods used and major results. Papers are expected to show the following structure:

1. Introduction
2. Relation to Existing Theories and Work
3. Research Approach
4. Findings, Results
5. Conclusion
6. References (Author name, Year, Article Title, Published By, Page, Country)
Paper will only be accepted on the condition that the material is original, e.g. has not been copy-righted, published, presented or is currently submitted for consideration elsewhere

Abstracts that are accepted will be published in the conference handbook.

Those abstracts selected as oral presentations will need to be submitted as full papers by Friday 14 September 2007. Accepted papers would be followed by a power point presentation to be received by 5th November 2007.
